Whitsun Weddings

On first glances, the Whitsun Weddings didn't really appeal to me as something that I wanted to read. however as we went through it in class I began to realize that it was worth reading. the whole point of the poem was the speakers realization about how special each an every wedding was to each of the couples. the whole experience serves as an epiphany to the speaker who begins to realist how pointless each one of the weddings is, but they each serve as a start to their lives good or bad.one interesting point that caught my attention was how the train was described as an arrow. I believe it was described this way because it was projecting the couples lives into the future to however it may turn out for them.
