Musical Moments 1 and 2 c

under the surface, this poem has subtle hints of brewing tensions across the globe centering on Germany. The year is important because 1933 is the year that Hitler became chancellor of Germany and then Fuhrer soon afterwards. There is numerous hints eluding to this throughout the poem such as '(Germany six million miles away)' I believe that the poem could be about how normal day to day life continued despite the ever growing tensions (in Europe especially).
